This year’s winner of the Rookie Bid-Calling Competition is Tim Farmer with Martin Realty and Auction in Gallatin, Tennessee. The competition took place during the summer convention in Jackson, Tennessee. The contest was open to all licensed resident Auctioneers and Apprentice Auctioneers who were in good standing with the Tennessee Auctioneers Commission and have been licensed for three years or less. Contestants sold two items and were judged on opening statements, Bid –calling, style/interaction with the audience, professional image, salesmanship and over all impression.
